Police search for unknown assault victim

Police are looking to identify the victim of an assault in Shrewsbury on Wednesday.
West Mercia Police said it was called to New Park Road at about 20:15 BST to reports that a man had been hit by a vehicle.
The force said it believed the car was deliberately driven at the victim, who was riding a black and orange bicycle. The occupants got out of the car to further assault the man, police added.
According to witnesses, he left the scene in the direction of Morrisons. Police said they wanted to ensure he received the medical care he needed.
A 32-year-old man arrested on suspicion of affray remained in police custody, the force stated.
Police described the victim as white and about 5ft 9in (1.75m) tall and in his late 20s.
The force added he may have had an Albanian accent, and was wearing black shorts, shoes, a black cap and black jacket.
