Man arrested over 'gang feud' fire attacks

A 24-year-old man has been arrested in connection with two fires linked to an ongoing gang feud in Edinburgh.
The fires broke out in Albert Street and Milton Road East on Thursday 6 March and Sunday 16 March.
A separate blaze attack on a house in the Niddrie area of the city on Friday - as well as two incidents of shots being fired in Niddrie Marischal Crescent and West Pilton Bank last month - have also been linked to gang violence.
Police Scotland said the 24-year-old man had been arrested for wilful fireraising and reset of a stolen vehicle. He is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Tuesday.
Det Supt Paul Grainger said: "I want to reassure the community that we are continuing to work on this investigation and this is just one of many arrests over the coming weeks.
"If you have any information that can assist our investigation, please get in touch."
