Man charged after dog attacks man, 72, and woman, 73

A man has been charged after a dog attacked a 72-year-old man and a 73-year-old woman in Dundee.

The attack happened at about 02:10 on Sunday 26 January in the Greendykes Road area.

The injured man was taken to hospital for treatment but the woman did not require medical attention.

Police said that, following inquiries, a warrant had now been executed at a house on Greendykes Road and a dog was removed from the property and a 43-year-old man charged.
