We're proud of our lifeguard team - Jersey RNLI

Lifeguards for Jersey's RNLI have been talking about how important the role is to them.
Last year RNLI Lifeguards responded to 332 incidents on Jersey beaches, helping 434 people and saving two lives, the charity said.
Aaron White, seasonal lifeguard supervisor, said he was "really proud of our team".
He said: "We've got a lot of returning lifeguards this year - about 90% - what that means is that we've got more experience on our beaches."
"The beaches can be as dangerous as they are beautiful, so we'd always recommend people to stay super safe and swim at a lifeguarded beach," Mr White said.
He said conditions in Jersey could "change so much through the day".
"We've got different sandbanks," he said. "We might have rip currents in some areas, but as the tide goes out, the beach can change a lot, so we're always pre-empting where is going to be the safest place to put our flags."

Lifeguards Amelia Gould and Anders Ravenscroft grew up together surfing and are now on the same lifeguard team.
Ms Gould said: "I just love the beach, I've always spent my time down here in the summer and winter.
"The job incorporates helping people, my surf knowledge, my ocean knowledge, so it seems like the perfect job at the moment."
"I'm looking forward to being down the beach all day."
Mr Ravenscroft said he was "looking forward to getting out with everyone, being down the beach in the sun".
"It's such a nice experience down here," he said.
The RNLI said Le Braye would be patrolled daily over the Easter holidays from Saturday 5 to Monday 21 April, then over the weekend of 26–27 April before returning to daily patrols from Saturday 3 May.
It said daily patrols would restart at El Tico and Watersplash at St Ouen, Plemont, Greve de Leq and St Brelade's Bay from Saturday 24 May.
