US rugby star's 'big plans' for stay in Bristol
US rugby star Ilona Maher say she plans to make the most of Bristol during her three month stint playing in the city.
The 28-year-old is the most followed rugby union player - male or female - on social media, with more than eight million followers on Instagram and TikTok.
She spent 90 minutes posing for photographs with fans and signing autographs following her Bristol Bears debut against Gloucester-Hartpury on Sunday, which drew a record-breaking 9,240 crowd.
Maher told the BBC she had "big plans for Bristol" and had already ticked off the Clifton Suspension Bridge and Clifton Village, with Wapping Wharf next on her to-see list.
