Police are appealing for witnesses after a robbery at a post office in Worcestershire.

Just before 19:00 GMT on Monday, three masked intruders entered Wythall Post Office on Drakes Cross Parade in Hollywood via the back door.

The intruders assaulted a staff member before gaining entry to the safe and stealing a large amount of cash, as well as a computer and a mobile phone.

The offenders, who were wearing black jackets, jeans and black masks, fled the scene in a black Honda Civic with a registration number starting PY08.

The money was taken away from the post office in a blue duffle bag.
