Salt Path film premieres in Cornwall

The South West Gala screening of 'The Salt Path' premiered in Newquay on Tuesday night.
Starring Gillian Anderson and Jason Isaacs, the film is based on the best-selling book by Raynor Winn.
The story follows couple Raynor and Moth Winn who walked the South West coast path after losing their home, business and getting a shocking health diagnosis.
The screening took place at the Lighthouse Cinema, before the film is officially released to the public at a UK Gala on 30 May.
Raynor Winn said: "It's surreal - I think the book has its own life so I just hope the film does the same.
"I think that they will find the essence of the book in the film and they have that beautiful coastline which will always be the third character."

The book has already drawn many fans to visit the coast path, creating new memories along the way.
Theatre director and producer Marianne Elliott swapped stage for screen for this production.
She said: "It's been four years from the moment where I had the idea to be audacious enough to try and make this beautiful book into a film - it's surreal."
"I've always wanted to do a film, and I suppose theatre is such a hungry beast where you have to fill a lot of slots.
"It was only when the pandemic struck and I thought that's the end of my career."
On the idea for the film, she added: "I was out walking in the park, when we were allowed to go walking for an hour, and I was looking at this incredible nature which seemed to be just having a wonderful time.
"For some reason I didn't put the two and two together but I thought of this book when it first came out and I thought 'Oh my God, that would be a wonderful film'."
