A man's body has been found following a fire at a two-storey house on the Isle of Wight.

Firefighters worked through the night to tackle the blaze in Monkton Street, Ryde, after they were called at about 19:15 GMT on Sunday.

Specialist search teams entered the building on Tuesday and found the man's body.

His next of kin have been informed and his death is not being treated as suspicious.
