Lincoln Lights: Illuminated trail set for February

Lincoln is to get an illuminated light trail next month.

Lincoln Lights will run for two nights on 20 and 21 of February.

The event will feature an array of installations, projections and light-based artwork in the city centre between 17:30 and 19:30 GMT each day.

Sam Lindley from organisers Threshold Studios said they hoped the event would show the city "in a new way".

Ms Lindley said: "Everything will be free to enter, and it is just about trying out a new event for the city centre, as February is a really dark month. It is in that no-man's land after Christmas.

"This is just a new way to explore the city, and see it in a great way and see some stuff you haven't seen before.

"It is just a chance to come out with your family and friends and see Lincoln in a new way."
