The M5 has reopened following a late night collision.

The northbound carriageway between Junction 11A for Hucclecote and Gloucester and Junction 11 for Cheltenham was closed earlier after two cars crashed at 01:00 BST on Monday.

The carriageway barrier was damaged in the crash, but has since been repaired by National Highways contractors.

Diversions were in place on the A417 and A40, with no congestion reported.
