Man arrested on suspicion of rape

A man has been arrested on suspicion of rape after an incident in Surrey.

Police were called at 16:50 BST on Monday following report of concern for the safety of a woman at Horley Recreation Ground.

A man in his 30s remains in custody and specialist officers have been supporting the woman, police said.

Surrey Police wants anyone who was in or around the recreation ground between 16:30 and 16:50 and believes they saw "anything suspicious" to get in contact.
