A motorcyclist has died following a three-vehicle crash.

Officers from Avon and Somerset Police were called to the incident on the A46 in Old Sodbury, South Gloucestershire at about 13:00 BST.

Police and paramedics provided medical attention to the motorcyclist but, despite their efforts, he died at the scene. His next of kin has been informed.

Avon and Somerset Constabulary is appealing for witnesses and has closed the road between New Tyning Lane and The Cross Hands while enquiries continue.
