Plan for 166 new homes on former council estate
GoogleA plan has been submitted to build 166 houses on vacant land in east Hull.
The homes would be built on derelict land in Middlesex Road, on the Ings estate, according to plans.
The proposed properties would be detached and semi-detached and range from two to four bedrooms.
Outline planning permission has already been granted by Hull City Council, with the latest submission providing further details about the development.
According to the Local Democracy Reporting Service, about 10% of the site would be affordable homes.
The land is currently empty grassland following the demolition of former houses which "had exceeded their serviceable life-span", state the planning documents.
The council will review the application before making its decision.
