Biker in Cornwall suffers life-changing injuries

A motorbike rider has suffered life-changing injuries in a road collision in Cornwall, police say.

The incident involved a black Yamaha motorcycle and a white Ford Transit van on Link Road, Launceston, at about 07:00 GMT on Tuesday.

The biker, a man in his 20s, was taken to hospital and the road was closed until 14:45 for a forensic investigation.

Devon and Cornwall Police have appealed for any witnesses to come forward.
