'My best friend captured my proposal on video'

A woman from Devon has captured her best friend's proposal on a beach.

Jade Cockerill, 28, from Torquay, is a professional photographer and managed to film her friend Laura Billinghay, 25, from Ivybridge, as her partner proposed on Mothecombe beach in the South Hams.

The video was posted on social media and so far has amassed more than 7 million views and 1.1 million likes.

The two best friends told BBC Radio Devon they were "blown away" by how many people had seen the video.
