Group to deliver treats after fun-day cancellation

A housing association will deliver Easter eggs to people living in part of Grimsby after the sudden cancellation of a family fun day.
The Lincolnshire Housing Partnership was forced to postpone an event at Sutherland Park in Victoria Street earlier because of poor weather.
The organisation apologised and said it would deliver treats to children in the East Marsh area to "ensure they don't miss out".
It also told the BBC it would reschedule the event for the next school holidays, on a date to be confirmed.
LHP neighbourhood team leader Jade Bramhill said the day would aim to make learning about recycling a fun experience while bringing the community together.
"It's important to us to engage with residents, listen to their needs and offer support that makes a lasting difference in their everyday lives," she said.
"We hope this initiative will inspire even more local involvement in making our neighbourhoods cleaner, greener and better connected."
