Views sought on Surrey countryside

Surrey County Council want locals and visitors to share their views

People have been asked to take part in a survey to give their views on the Surrey countryside.

Surrey County Council (SCC) wants to know what locals and visitors value most about the landscape and what they would change.

The council said it will use the results to "ensure our green spaces continue to be vibrant, accessible, and well cared for".

Marisa Heath, SCC cabinet member for environment, said: "It's important that all residents and visitors to our countryside spaces are heard."

The survey is open until 30 May.

SCC owns and manages over 10,000 acres of land.

The council said the survey will influence its future decisions and investments.
