Police seek teenagers over violent assault on man

The assault happened near the Skate Park in Jesus Green

Police are hunting for two teenage boys after a serious attack left a man with fractures to his face and ribs.

It happened near the skate park at Jesus Green in Cambridge at about 20:00 BST on Saturday.

Cambridgeshire Police said the man, who was in his 50s, lost consciousness for a time but did not receive life-threatening injuries and was in a stable condition in hospital.

The force said it was a "particularly violent assault" and appealed for witnesses to get in touch.

Police believed the attack was carried out by two boys, described as white and possibly in their mid-to-late teens.

One had brown slicked-back hair and was wearing a white T-shirt and jeans.

The other had blond or light-brown hair and was wearing a white T-shirt and shorts.
