Surrey Heath fires are suspected arson - police

Police suspect three recent fires in the Surrey Heath area were started deliberately and have urged people to report any suspicious activity.
The first blaze was reported on Tuesday, 11 March, in a wooded area between Guildford Road and the A322, Lightwater, at about 17:15 BST, Surrey Police said.
The second occurred on Tuesday, 18 March, within a protected wildlife area of Swinley Forest, Bagshot, at about 14:20 BST, the force added.
A third fire was reported on Wednesday in a wooded area near Coleford Bridge Road and The Quays, Mytchett, also at about 14:20 BST.
Surrey Fire & Rescue Service attended and extinguished all three fires.
Surrey Police said the fires were under investigation and it was working closely with partner agencies to identify those responsible.
A spokesperson said: "We urge members of the community to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity, particularly in wooded or common land areas."
Anyone with information has been urged to contact the force.
