Investigation launched after boy, 17, stabbed

A teenager has been taken to hospital with stab wounds following an attack in Sheffield.

According to South Yorkshire Police, the 17-year-old boy was found injured inside a commercial premises on Abbeydale Road shortly after 18:00 GMT on Tuesday.

The boy was taken to hospital and has since been discharged. His injuries were not believed to be life-threatening or life-altering.

South Yorkshire Police said two men had fled the scene on foot and inquiries were under way to identify those responsible.
