A woman has died following a single-vehicle crash on a rural road in Cornwall.

Devon and Cornwall Police was called to an unnamed road leading to Trelill from St Teath, near Camelford, at about 21:50 GMT on Wednesday.

The force said the crash involved a blue Mini Countryman car and a woman in her 30s from Bodmin was pronounced dead at the scene.

An appeal for information has been issued by police with anyone who witnessed the crash or has dashcam footage asked to contact investigating officers.
