Man suffers burns as fire engulfs caravan

A man suffered burns after his caravan caught fire while he was sleeping.
Firefighters extinguished the blaze in Stock Road, Ingatestone, Essex, after being called at 09:28 BST on Tuesday.
Watch manager Brett Sheridan said the occupant "luckily" managed to wake up and escape the property, but he sustained burns to his hands and inhaled smoke.
The incident was caused by an electric heater setting fire to bedding, the service concluded, adding the caravan's interior was destroyed.
