Carol services set for BBC radio broadcasts

People across the West Midlands will be able to hear carol services from regional venues including three cathedrals, thanks to recordings by BBC radio stations.

The events will be aired on Christmas Eve with most repeated on Christmas Day.

BBC CWR recorded at Coventry Cathedral during an event hosted by Vic Minett, with readings from fellow presenters and cathedral choristers.

Hereford Cathedral was the venue for BBC Hereford & Worcester's event and Birmingham Cathedral for BBC Radio WM.

BBC Radio Stoke recorded a carol service at Stoke Minster, with the Square in Shrewsbury serving as host for BBC Radio Shropshire.
