A man has been found guilty of manslaughter after another man died from a single punch to the face at a pub.

Usman Hanif, 39, hit John Barry, 54, once at the Red Lion, in High Street, Burnham, Buckinghamshire, at 00:50 BST on Saturday 20 July.

Mr Barry died from his injuries three days later, Thames Valley Police said.

Hanif, from High Street, Langley, in Slough, has been released on conditional bail, following the trail at Aylesbury Crown Court, and is due to be sentenced on 2 June.

Senior investigating officer Det Ch Insp Laura Corscadden said its thoughts were with Mr Barry's family.

"Mr Barry died as a result of a single punch to the face.

"This is an extremely tragic incident with devastating consequences for all.

"Unlawful violence can lead to fatal outcomes, so please think before you act."
