Motorcyclist dies after hitting tree

A man in his 40s has died after the motorbike he was driving hit a tree.

Warwickshire Police said officers were called to the A45 towards Daventry, near to Dunchurch, just after 17:15 BST on Monday.

Despite the efforts of emergency services, the man was pronounced dead at the scene, West Midlands Ambulance Service added.

The police force has asked anyone with information or dashcam footage relating to the crash to get in touch.
