Plymouth Samaritans announce new outreach bus

Plymouth Samaritans have teamed up with Citybus to help them with their outreach work.
A bus with the mental health helpline's livery is set to take to the streets of Plymouth, raising awareness of the charity's work.
The charity said the aim was to let the public know its volunteers were there to help people in emotional distress 24 hours a day, every day of the year, and to provide them with details of how to get in touch.
A spokesperson for Citybus said: "We are incredibly proud to collaborate with Plymouth Samaritans on this initiative."
It added: "Mental health is just as important as physical health and we hope the Samaritans bus will serve as a beacon of hope for those in need."
Members of Plymouth Samaritans said they wanted to get their message of support to as wide an audience as possible.
The charity added that it was dedicating the bus to their colleague Jan, a "much-loved former director of the branch".
