Two charged after Christmas Eve stabbing

Two more men have been charged after a stabbing on Christmas Eve, Gloucestershire Police said.

A man in his 40s was taken to hospital after the serious attack at an address on Cromwell Street, Gloucester, at about 02:30 GMT, police confirmed.

Alexander Flanagan, 32 and of no fixed abode, and Daniel Walsh, 32 and of Newton House, London Road, Gloucester, have been charged with wounding with intent.

Daniel Mann, 22, of Leominster Road, Dymock, was charged on Christmas Day with common assault, wounding with intent, and threatening a person with an offensive weapon.

Mr Mann and Mr Walsh previously appeared at Cheltenham Magistrates' Court and have been remanded in custody. Meanwhile, Mr Flanagan has also been remanded in custody and will appear in court on Thursday.

The injured man has since been discharged from hospital.

Officers investigating the incident are keen to hear from anyone who lives in the area who has CCTV or doorbell footage which shows anyone in the area, either before or after the incident.
