Man dies following crash between van and lorry

A man has died following a crash involving the van he was driving and a lorry in County Londonderry on Wednesday.

Ruben Alexandre Guimares, 44, from the Moy area, died at the scene.

The crash happened on the Dunhill road in Macosquin at 11:55 BST.

The driver of the lorry was taken to hospital for treatment to his injuries, which are not believed to be serious.

Police are appealing to anyone with information to contact them.

The Dunhill Road has now been fully re-opened, following the crash.
