Ten injured in three-car crash near Inverness

Police are appealing for witnesses after 10 people were injured in a road crash near Inverness.

The three-vehicle collision happened on the B862 Dores road at Scaniport just after 20:00 on Wednesday.

The driver and four passengers who were in a Toyota Prius were all taken to Inverness' Raigmore Hospital. The driver had serious injuries.

Five other people who were in an Audi A3 were also taken to hospital.

A Landrover Discovery was also involved in the collision.

Its driver was not injured.

Police Scotland said its inquiries were continuing.
