Farmer rescues sheep from snow drift
This is the moment a sheep pulled to safety after being trapped in a snow drift.
However, Frank Carr, a farmer in the Yorkshire Dales, warned that not all of his flock would be so lucky.
Hit by 40cm (15in) of snow, he said the snow, sub-zero temperatures and wind meant he was braced for fatalities.
He said: "It's the wind that makes the drifts as bad as they are. I don't think we'll have lost too many, but there definitely will be fatalities."
