Dealer caught with illegal drugs in car jailed

A drug dealer who was caught with illegal drugs worth thousands of pounds in his car has been jailed for four years.
Lewis Darcy, 26, was picked up by police on patrol who spotted him banging on the door of a property in Hexthorpe, Doncaster, in March.
He was arrested by officers who were suspicious about his behaviour and the strong smell coming from his car.
Darcy, of Carr View Avenue, Balby, admitted possession with intent to supply heroin, crack cocaine and cannabis as well as driving without a licence and insurance at Sheffield Crown Court.

Three bags of cannabis and wraps of Class A drugs were found inside his vehicle, with the find worth up to £2,100.
Speaking after he was jailed on Friday, Det Con Ellen Hoszowski said: "Darcy was carrying a significant quantity of drugs that were wrapped and prepared for onward supply.
"Thanks to our officers and their quick thinking, we were able to apprehend him and prevent him from selling these on."
The officer added: "Drugs absolutely ruin lives and the supply of these illegal substances often feeds into organised crime groups who wreak havoc and misery on our local communities."
