Serious crash closes A303 in both directions

A "serious" crash has closed part of the the A303 in Wiltshire in both directions.

National Highways said the collision, which happened near Chicklade, involved two cars that both overturned.

Wiltshire Police, Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service and South West Ambulance Service crews are on scene.

The A303 is shut between the A36 at Deptford and the A350 near Warminster, with Wiltshire Police telling drivers to expect "significant delays".
