Caravan destroyed in suspected arson attack

A caravan has been destroyed in a suspected arson attack in Bristol.
Firefighters were called to Saville Road, on the edge of Durdham Down, after reports of a caravan fire at 11:24 GMT on Thursday. No injuries were reported.
Avon Fire and Rescue Service said the cause of the fire was thought to be deliberate and Avon and Somerset Police confirmed it was investigating.
The area is popular with van-dwellers and Bristol City Council is due to discuss their future at a meeting later.

The council said the number of people living in vehicles in the city has risen by 400% in the past five years.
It estimates there are up to 680 vehicles being lived in across Bristol, including next to the M32 and on The Downs.
