Driver in 80s airlifted to hospital after collision
BBCA man in his 80s was taken to hospital with serious injuries by the air ambulance following a collision involving three cars.
It happened on the A134 at Stanton, near Bury St Edmunds, just after 12:05 BST on Saturday, Suffolk Police said.
Ambulance crews, the air ambulance and Suffolk Fire & Rescue Service attended the crash site at the Wyken Road junction.
The man, who was driving a Renault Clio, was flown to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge.
He remained in hospital in a stable condition.
Two women, the driver and passenger in a Ford Fiesta, were taken to West Suffolk Hospital in Bury St Edmunds.
The driver a Toyota Yaris was treated for injuries at the scene of the crash.
The road remained closed until 20:50 while the vehicles were recovered.
Police appealed for dashcam footage or witnesses.
